Job Objective

A client-facing role that requires top-notch
web analytics, AdWords analytics, conversion optimization, and people skills.
The position is freelance, leading to full time.

Job Content & Scope

  • Support the analytic needs of our clients by analyzing web traffic using clickstream tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture etc.
  • Deliver core insights from the data to recommend opportunities for multivariate or a/b/n tests that drive fundamental improvements to the site conversion results.
  • Analyze clients’ AdWords campaigns, identify problems in the account setup, reporting and results, and deliver high-value insights that will improve the return on their advertising spend.
  • Work closely with Clients and WiderFunnel team to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements.
  • Ensure that best practices in metrics and decision making are being exposed to WiderFunnel management and team members.

Typical Deliverables

  • Web Analytics audit of a client’s website, identifying challenges and opportunities in technical implementation and account setup of their Web Analytics tools.
  • AdWords audit for clients, identifying weaknesses in their campaign setup, reporting, and results.
  • Ad hoc technical recommendations for achieving desired metrics from A/B/n and multivariate tests (ex. Implementation of cross-domain measurement, ecommerce KPI tracking, offline and online integration, etc.)
  • Weekly, monthly reports (excel, BI tools, clickstream analytics).
  • Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for project teams and business leaders.
  • Troubleshooting of Analytics reports or test results.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • At least three to four years of working with standard clickstream analysis tools: Google Analytics, Omniture, ClickTracks, WebTrends, HBX, CoreMetrics etc.
  • Three to five years of experience in one or more roles in an online ecommerce or online support environments.
  • Five to ten years of experience in using the Microsoft Office suite with very strong Excel skills.
  • Three to five years of Web Analytics experience in agency or large size companies with multiple functions / business units preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
